Explanations of Commonly Used PRHASES, ABBREVIATIONS and other TERMINOLOGY
"Pioneer Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: PIONEER AGE 1500's-1828
"Victorian Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: VICTORIAN AGE 1828-1883
"Platinum Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: PLATINUM AGE 1883-1938
"Golden/Atom Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: GOLDEN 1938-1945/ATOM AGE 1946-1956
"Silver Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: SILVER AGE 1956-1970
"Copper Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: COPPER AGE 1984-1992
"Modern Age" - This is commonly used when referring to the Chronological Time-Line for Comic Books during the following years: MODERN AGE 1992-PRESENT
"Short Print" or "SP" - This is commonly used when referring to the rarity of an item. Some items/merchandise have a shorter print/production run than other similar items/merchandise. Sometimes this is identified by a serial number, however, when the print/production run is not identified by a Serial #, it is then provided by the manufacturer of the items/merchandise. Other phrases with similar meaning are..."Limited Production" or "Lower Distribution".
